				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This weekend will be action packed for those who wish to join us for the Club&#8217;s Annual White Ribbon Cup.</p>
<p class="p1">Not only will you be able to see three great games of football, including a battle between our Champion Senior Women&#8217;s Team and Southern United for the Cup, but we&#8217;ll providing a <strong>FREE and unique specialised clinic</strong> for all junior girls who&#8217;d like to participate. The clinic will be held from 1:30 &#8211; 2:30pm, 1/2 hour before the women&#8217;s match. We&#8217;ll also be running a raffle and there are some great prizes to be won.</p>
<p>The weather&#8217;s looking great, so come and join us on the day in support of our Senior Women&#8217;s Team and the White Ribbon Foundation. Entry is by a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to White Ribbon Australia.</p>

<p><strong>HOW TO REGISTER A JUNIOR PLAYER</strong><br />
<strong>Step 1:</strong> Complete your Knox City FC online registration<br />
<strong>Step 2:</strong> Attend the Club on Saturday 17 February for our Club registration verification and uniform sizing day.<br />
The following times have been allocated for teams to assist the process.</p>
<p class="p2"><strong>U7 and U8 teams registration is at 9.30 am</strong></p>
<p class="p2"><strong>U9 and U10 teams registration is at 10.30 am</strong></p>
<p class="p2"><strong>U11, U12 and U13 teams registration is at 11.30 am</strong></p>
<p class="p2"><strong>Step 3:</strong> Have a great season as a Knox City player.</p>
<p>If you are unable to attend our registration day on the 17th, please speak with or see Mark Tyrrell to arrange sizing.</p>
<p class="p2"><strong>JUNIOR REGISTRATION FEES </strong><br />
Fees include FFA/FFV player and team registration costs, uniform, coaching, entry to all Club matches and the opportunity to play on the best natural grass playing surface in the region.<br />

<p>After the first couple of steps, the website will switch to the old site <a href="http://www.myfootballclub.com.au./"><span class="s1">www.myfootballclub.com.au.</span></a><br />
This old site is why this process is called MyFootballClub.</p>
<p><strong>How to retrieve your FFA Number or reset password</strong><br />
<strong>1.</strong> Click on “Register Now” and then “Click here to proceed to the login pages”<br />
<strong>2.</strong> Click on “Find your FFA Number” to find your FFA number. Enter your name and DOB to find your FFA number<br />
<strong>3.</strong> Click on your name to take you to the login screen<br />
<strong>4.</strong> Click on “Need a Password?” to reset and retrieve a password by entering a matching e-mail address that is currently on the MyFootballClub system<br />
<strong>5</strong>. If your email address does not match with data in MyFootballClub, contact FFA in order to update your current email address and log into the system.<br />
(NOTE: Do not create an account if you have been registered within the last 5 years. Please contact the FFA or FFV for assistance to find your FFA number)</p>

<p><strong>Log into your own MyFootballClub Account</strong><br />
<strong>1.</strong> Click on “Register Now”<br />
<strong>2.</strong> Select the option to log in to your account, or to create a new account</p>
<p><strong>Registering to Knox City FC</strong><br />
<strong>3.</strong> To begin registration, click on “Register”<br />
<strong>4.</strong> Update your Personal and Contact Details. Only players playing in under-12 to under-18 (b 2001-2006) require photos.<br />
<strong>5.</strong> Click on “Next”<br />
<strong>6.</strong> Type in our Club name which is Knox City FC<br />
(NOTE: You must select our Club name from the drop down menu that appears for packages to be made available.)<br />
<strong>7.</strong> Choose the option “Player” and confirm your playing details in the subsequent pop-up<br />
<strong>8.</strong> Select the appropriate Registration Fee that applies to you. These are filtered by age (&amp; gender in some instances), so you will generally see only one option.<br />
<strong>9.</strong> Click on “Add Packages” and then click on “Next”</p>
<p><strong>Acknowledging Terms and Conditions </strong><br />
10. Read and acknowledge all Terms and Conditions by checking all boxes and then click on “Next”.</p>
<p><strong>Payment Options Screen</strong><br />
11. This is the place to claim a sibling discount if you’re registering more than one child at the club. It isn’t obvious. Select the option “Purchase Additional Items”, then select the line item. Please don’t use this for the first child, only the second or subsequent child/ren.</p>
<p>12. You will be given the option to “Pay Online” or “Manual Payment At Club”. If you select the “Manual Payment At Club”, you will be able to pay on-line at a later date through the same system. Just log in to see a list of invoices. Note that the club is only able to collect cash payments on particular dates, to be advised.<br />
13. If “Pay Now”, continue to pay your registration fee on-line via Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa)</p>
<p><strong>Answer Additional Questions</strong><br />
14. Answer the questions, click on “Save All Answers” or click on “Next”.</p>
<p><strong>Your Online Registration is now complete! What happens next?</strong><br />
15. Your Registration Status is now either “Pending Awaiting Payment” or “Pending Awaiting Approval”. The Club Registrar will complete the final step of accepting your registration to make you Active and finalise your registration with FFV to make you eligible to play.</p>

If you wish to update any of your personal details<br />
• Click on “My Details” then “Edit My Details” to update your Personal and Contact Details. Finalise by clicking “Save My Details”<br />

<p>Hi everyone,</p>
<p>We hope you have had a great break over the summer and are looking forward to the new season of soccer in 2017!</p>
<p>Junior training commences on Tuesday 7 February and training nights are as follows:</p>
<p><strong>Under 7s and Under 8s </strong>train once a week starting on <strong>Wednesday 8 February at 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under 9s to Under 14s </strong>train twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting<strong> Tuesday 7 February at 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Under 16s will commence trials on Tuesday 7 February at 6.30 pm.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Women&#8217;s social soccer will also be starting on Wednesday 8 February at 630 pm</strong> &#8211; for any woman interested in having fun and getting fit while playing soccer!</p>
<p>All training is held at Egan Lee Reserve, Wallace Road, Knoxfield.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Macedonia are the new All Nations Cup Champions after defeating Scotland in a Penalty Shoot Out after the teams couldn&#8217;t be separated after 2 periods of Extra time.</p>
<p>The Macedonian team lead for most of the day but an injury time header from a corner set piece by Scotland saw the game tied 2 &#8211; 2 at the completion of normal time.  The deadlock remained after extra time.  Macedonia took the lead early in the shootout with their first shot finding the net however Scotland&#8217;s first attempted went high over the bar and they could not find a way back from that point onward with the Macedonians finishing clinically.</p>
<p>Earlier in the day Albania won the first All Nations Plate defeating France 3 &#8211; 1.</p>

<p>Knox City Football Club will once again be holding the All Nations Cup, commencing on Saturday 5 November and concluding on Saturday 10 December 2016.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This year is the 31<sup>st</sup> time that Knox City FC has hosted this multicultural football tournament, which showcases how the City of Knox and the wider Melbourne community embrace cultural diversity and celebrate multi-culturalism through the World Game. The 2016 tournament will include the introduction of a Plate competition for the 8 best-placed teams who do not reach the quarter-finals of the Cup to progress and contest the finals series of the inaugural Plate trophy.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Teams from all over Melbourne that represent 20 different countries will compete to take the crown from last year’s winners, Serbia. In 2016, participating teams are Albania, Australia, Chile, England, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Macedonia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan and Turkey.</p>
<p>During the group phase, five matches will be played each Saturday and Sunday. Each match has halves of 35 mins duration. Dates and times of the matches are as follows:</p>

<p>If you want to come along to Egan Lee Reserve, Wallace Road in Knoxfield to cheer on your favourite team, the cost is only $6 at the gate for adults, $4 for pensioners, and free for under 15s and Knox City FC members if they wear their Knox City kit. Parents also get in for free if accompanying a child in a Knox City kit.</p>
